If your Media is in a database, you can use bulk import to save a lot of data entry time by porting your Media into MarketDirect StoreFront via CSV, or comma-separated value, file. Most database applications will enable you to save your data in CSV format.
To perform a bulk Media import
1 On the Media Catalog | Bulk Media Import tab at the top of the page.
2 Select the Type of file that matches the format in which you saved your Media list: Unicode (UTF-8) or Unicode.
3 Select the Field Delimiter you used to separate the values in your Media list: , | /t ;
To download and inspect a sample CSV file showing the proper formatting for the Media file, select Click here to Download Sample CSV File..
4 Click Browse... and locate and select a CSV (comma separated value) file containing the Media to upload.
5 Click Upload Media to upload the Media CSV file.
6 Click the View or Edit Catalog tab at the top of the page and verify that the Media were loaded properly.
Warning: SKU is used to identify the Media. Media must have a unique SKU in MarketDirect StoreFront or the import will not work correctly.
